Mardi Himal Trek Stands At An Elevation (4,200m)  Sherpa Expedition guide And Adventure warmly greeting from Birth Of Gh0utam Buddha And land of Rich Himalayan in Nepal. The Mardi Himal Trek is a captivating trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The trek usually begins in Phedi or Kande and concludes in Siding or Lumre. Along the way, trekkers witness stunning landscapes, diverse flora, and fauna, with the highlight being the spectacular views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchare, and the Annapurna range. The journey typically takes around 6-8 days, offering a mix of lush forests, traditional villages, and alpine terrain. It’s a less crowded alternative to some of the more popular treks in the region, providing a more intimate experience with nature and culture. This relatively new trekking route has gained popularity for its off-the-beaten-path appeal and the breathtaking panoramic views it unveils.

Commencing from the picturesque town of Pokhara, the trek takes adventurers through charming traditional villages, terraced fields, and dense rhododendron forests. The highlight of the trek is reaching the high camp at Mardi Himal Base Camp, which provides an unparalleled viewpoint for the majestic Annapurna, Machapuchare, Hiunchuli, and Mardi Himal peaks.

The trail winds its way through serene forests alive with birdlife and the occasional glimpse of wildlife, creating a serene ambiance for trekkers. Unlike some of the more crowded trekking routes, Mardi Himal offers a more intimate experience with nature, allowing trekkers to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the Himalayan wilderness.

Itinerary

Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu airport (KTM) you will be greeted by a representative from Alliance Trekking (AT). After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with a Alliance Trekking display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to Hotel Manang or a similar category hotel. After check in, you will visit our office, meet your trekking guide as well as other participants and do final preparation for the trip. Later in the evening we will organize a “Welcome Dinner” at an excellent traditional Nepalese Restaurant where you will enjoy a Nepalese cultural program along with a fine meal.(D).

Take your breakfast at the same hotel and then at 9:00AM by a private car start your Kathmandu Valley sight seeing of Bouddha Nath Stupa – the world’s largest stupa, a sight of great reincarnation to the Buddhist. It’s then off to Pasupatinath temple – the most sacred of the Hindu Temple in Nepal dedicated to lord Shiva. Built in 1696. we will stop by at Patan for your lunch and after sight seeing tour of Patan Durbar Square – a city of architecture and fine arts. This city is known as the second oldest city in Kathmandu and Patan museum is the best museum in the South Asia. It is said that Krishna temple was made of a single stone. Visit the famed Golden temple, Patan palace square along with local market street visit. Our next stop is Swoyambunath Stupa/Monkey temple – the oldest Buddhist shrine. Looking east from on top, one can see the entire Kathmandu Valley spread out below. The front way is over 300 steps to get on the top of the Stupa makes for an interesting walk. This place is also the best for sunset views over the mountains. Over night at hotel. In the evening at 5:00 PM, we meet at our head office for a briefing about your trip program. We will hand over your trekking documents- flight ticket, permits, trek itinerary, check equipments and introduce you to your trekking guide. (B)

The Trek from Dampus Phedi to Pothana Is a Populiar route in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It’s a part of the larger Annapurna Sanctuary trek. The trek often begins at Dampus Phedi, which is the starting point for the ascent to Dhampus village. After starting from Phedi, the trail ascends to Dhampus is a picturesque village with stunning views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare (Fishtail) mountains. From Dhampus Village the trek continues through beautiful forests and terraced fields to reach Pothana,  Pothana offers panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range The trek is relatively moderate in difficulty and provides an opportunity to experience the local culture, diverse landscapes, and breathtaking mountain scenery In The Annapurna Region

The trek from Pothana to Landruk is a scenic and enjoyable trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Start your trek from Pothana, which is situated at an elevation of around 1,900 meters. The trail initially heads to Deurali, passing through rhododendron forests, and Will See Pokhara City With Amazing Lake and offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Trek is Continue the descent from Deurali to Tolkha, a small village along the route. The trail then descends further to reach Landruk, a charming Gurung village with traditional houses and terraced fields. Landruk is situated at an elevation of approximately 1,565 meters. with Picturesque It is part of the Annapurna Conservation Area and lies on the popular trekking routes, including the Annapurna Base Camp trek. Landruk is known for its traditional Gurung culture, stone-built houses, terraced fields, and warm hospitality. The trek provides stunning views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare ranges

You are saying good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade e-mails with your travel companions and organize your photos. If you have more time you can do some shopping or sightseeing. Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Alliance Trekking will take you to the airport. On your way home you’ll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal. (B) In some circumstances we can face problem of internal flights to/from Lukla delayed by few hours or canceled for a day or many days too because of bad weather. Very rarely, but it could happen even in best trekking season also as you know how climate change is effecting our globe. Thus, we always recommend you to add supplement night/s in Kathmandu after your trek if possible (just in case).If everything runs smoothly, you can enjoy other activities like sightseeing, rafting , wildlife activities, shopping, as you wish in those additional
