Manaslu Circuit trek

The Manaslu Circuit trek is a stunning trekking route in Nepal that takes you around the eighth highest mountain in the world, Mount Manaslu. The trek offers a diverse range of landscapes, including lush green valleys, terraced fields, and high mountain deserts. You’ll experience rich cultural encounters with local communities and pass through traditional Tibetan villages. The trek usually takes around 14 to 16 days, and it requires a special permit due to its restricted area status. Itinerary

Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu airport you will be greeted by a representative from Alliance Trekking (AT). After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with a Alliance Trekking display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to Hotel Manang or a similar category hotel. After check in, you will visit our office, meet your trekking guide as well as other participants and do final preparation for the trip. Later in the evening we will organize a “Welcome Dinner” at an excellent traditional Nepalese Restaurant where you will enjoy a Nepalese cultural program along with a fine meal.

Take your breakfast at the same hotel and then at 9:00AM by a private car start your Kathmandu Valley sight seeing of Bouddha Nath Stupa – the world’s largest stupa, a sight of great reincarnation to the Buddhist. It’s then off to Pasupatinath temple – the most sacred of the Hindu Temple in Nepal dedicated to lord Shiva. Built in 1696. we will stop by at Patan for your lunch and after sight seeing tour of Patan Durbar Square – a city of architecture and fine arts. This city is known as the second oldest city in Kathmandu and Patan museum is the best museum in the South Asia. It is said that Krishna temple was made of a single stone. Visit the famed Golden temple, Patan palace square along with local market street visit. Our next stop is Swoyambunath Stupa/Monkey temple – the oldest Buddhist shrine. Looking east from on top, one can see the entire Kathmandu Valley spread out below. The front way is over 300 steps to get on the top of the Stupa makes for an interesting walk. This place is also the best for sunset views over the mountains. Over night at hotel. In the evening at 5:00 PM, we meet at our head office for a briefing about your trip program. We will hand over your trekking documents- flight ticket, permits, trek itinerary, check equipments and introduce you to your trekking guide.

The drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola typically takes around 8-10 hours, covering a distance of approximately 200 kilometers. The route involves navigating through Prithvi Highway and then branching off towards Gorkha and Arughat before reaching Soti Khola. It’s advisable to check current road conditions and weather before the journey.

Journey from Soti Khola to Machha Khola is part of the trekking route in the Manaslu Circuit. It’s a trekking trail rather than a direct drive. The trek involves walking along the Budi Gandaki River, passing through villages and scenic landscapes. The trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola usually takes around 5-6 hours, covering a distance of approximately 15 kilometers. Ensure you have the necessary trekking permits and be prepared for varying terrain and elevation changes during this trek,

Machha Khola is situated at an elevation of approximately 870 meters (2,854 feet) above sea level. Keep in mind that elevation can vary slightly depending on the specific location within Machha Khola. Break, lunch , Dinner is Included

Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat is a segment of the Manaslu Circuit trek in Nepal. the route is followed by khorlabesi, tattopani (hot spring) and gandagi river before entrance (mcap manaslu conservation area) 

Jagat to Dang trek is a scenic trekking route in Nepal. It typically starts from Jagat, a village in the Lamjung District, and takes you through diverse landscapes, including terraced fields, forests, and picturesque villages. Dang is another village along the route.

This trek provides an opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of the region, encounter local communities, and enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas. The trail often passes through the Manaslu Conservation Area, showcasing a variety of flora and fauna.

The trekking segment from Deng to Namrung is a part of the Manaslu Circuit Trek in Nepal. Deng is a village situated along the Budhi Gandaki River. It’s a picturesque village with traditional houses and offers a glimpse into the local culture. The elevation of Deng is around 1,860 meters (6,102 feet) above sea level. The trail from Deng to Namrung takes you through diverse landscapes, including forests, terraced fields, and charming villages. You’ll be walking along the Budhi Gandaki River, crossing suspension bridges, and ascending gradually.  Namrung is a higher-altitude village compared to Deng, situated at approximately 2,660 meters (8,727 feet) above sea level. It is known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is a common stop for trekkers on the Manaslu Circuit. Along this trekking segment, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the Himalayas, encounter local villages with unique architecture, and experience the diverse flora and fauna of the Manaslu Conservation through a restricted area. This typically include embarking on this trek.

The trail from Namrung to Lho involves a trek through alpine forests, charming villages, Lihi, View point of Himchuli (6,441m)  SHO Village which is eight hight mountain Manaslu (8,163m) Manaslu North, naike peak, and offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including all the Manaslu range. You may encounter suspension bridges and experience the unique cultural and natural diversity of the area

Lho is a picturesque village situated at a higher altitude than Namrung, at around 3,180 meters (10,433 feet) above sea level. This village provides stunning views of the Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges. Lho is known for its traditional Tibetan architecture, and you can explore monasteries and cultural sites in the village.

During this trekking segment, you’ll likely come across traditional Tibetan-influenced villages, prayer wheels, and Mani walls. The scenery includes terraced fields, dense forests, and glimpses of the snow-capped peaks,  lunch, dinner, breakfast and tea is included.

trek from Lho to Samagaun takes you through scenic landscapes, including forests, meadows, and traditional villages. You may pass by prayer wheels, Mani walls, and experience the unique culture of the region.

Samagaun is a higher-altitude village compared to Lho, situated at approximately 3,530 meters (11,581 feet) above sea level. It is a major village on the Manaslu Circuit and serves as a base for those trekking to Manaslu Base Camp.

This trekking segment offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Manaslu, and allows you to immerse yourself in the local culture. Samagaun is home to ancient monasteries and provides a serene mountain atmosphere. lunch, dinner, breakfast is included.

Today is the rest day and short hikking for easy and good helps to set off  For a day trek short hike in Samagaun, you can explore the surrounding areas and enjoy the local culture. Consider visiting the nearby Birendra Lake or Pungyen Gompa. These spots offer serene environments and provide an opportunity to experience the local traditions and lifestyle. Another option is to take a stroll through the village itself, interacting with the friendly locals and exploring the traditional architecture. It’s a great way to appreciate the local culture and recharge before continuing your trek. Always guide will  for the best recommendations based on current conditions and any specific events or attractions happening in the area. and lunch , dinner, breakfast is included.

Today is big day it takes 8-9 hours Including Summit Larke Peak (6,210m) and Ascent  4-5 hours to reach The Top And Continue Back down to Bimthang via Larke Pass Larkya Pass, also known as high mountain pass situated in the Manaslu region of Nepal.
Larke Pass is located at an elevation of approximately 5,106 meters (16,830feet) above sea level.
It lies on the border between the Manaslu and Annapurna regions and is a crucial point on the Manaslu Circuit Trek.
The pass is a significant part of the Manaslu Circuit Trek, connecting the villages of Samagaon and Samdo to Bimthang.
Trekkers typically ascend from Dharamshala (Larke Phedi) to Larke Pass and then descend towards Bimthang on the other side. Larke Pass is known for its challenging and steep,
